These Terms govern your use of ViniBrew (the "App", "we", "us"), a web app for tracking home beer and wine batches and sharing them with other users. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
ViniBrew is intended for adults of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. Do not use the App to facilitate the supply of alcohol to minors or any illegal alcohol production or distribution.
You're responsible for your account credentials and for what happens under your account. Usernames must be accurate and not impersonate others. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines shown in the app.
You keep ownership of the batches, recipes, photos, captions, and comments you create ("your content"). By sharing content to the Buddies feed or Community feed, you grant ViniBrew a non-exclusive license to store and display that content to other users within the app, for as long as you keep it posted. You can delete your own posts and comments at any time, which removes them from the app.
Don't post content you don't have the rights to, or content that's illegal, harassing, or violates someone else's privacy or intellectual property.
ViniBrew has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. This includes: content promoting illegal alcohol production or distribution or supplying alcohol to minors; harassment, hate speech, threats, or bullying; pornographic or sexually explicit material; and any other illegal or abusive conduct.
Use the flag icon in the app to report a post, comment, or account that violates this. You can also block a user from your Buddies/Community feed at any time from their profile or from any of their posts — blocking removes their content from your feed immediately. We review reports and act on them — including removing content and, for repeat or serious violations, permanently banning the account — within 24 hours.
Batch data you don't explicitly share stays only in your browser's local storage on your device — it is not backed up to our servers. Uninstalling the app, clearing site data, or switching devices can permanently erase it. Use the in-app Backup & Restore feature to export a copy before doing any of those things.
ViniBrew is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the accuracy of gravity/ABV calculations or fermentation guidance in the app — always use your own judgment when brewing.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ViniBrew and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of locally-stored batch data.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
